Shipping Abroad from Uzbekistan: EMU Express International Shipping Rates and Zones

Quick answer: the cost of international shipping with EMU Express depends on the destination (CIS countries or zones 11–21), the type of shipment, its weight and any extra conditions. For example, a document of up to 0.5 kg to Moscow costs 330,000 soums, and each additional 0.5 kg costs 72,000 soums. EMU Express delivers shipments not only within Uzbekistan but also to more than 165 countries worldwide. However, the cost of international shipments is calculated using a different system than domestic ones — here, the concept of a "zone" is not tied to the distance to a country, but to EMU Express's international route tariff system. Let's go through how international shipping rates from Uzbekistan are calculated, step by step. There are two types of international routes: · Courier service to CIS countries — a special, fast courier service to Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan; · International postal shipments worldwide — to more than 165 countries, based on a zone system. International courier services to CIS countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan For example: · Sending a document to Moscow — 330,000 soums (for 0.5 kg); · A shipment from Tashkent to Bishkek — 525,000 soums (for 0.5 kg); · Each additional 0.5 kg — 72,000 soums (the same for all destinations). Major cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astana, Almaty, Bishkek, Osh, Dushanbe, Khujand) have a separate, more affordable tariff, while a general tariff applies to other cities. International Mail Worldwide — 165 Countries, Zone System Through EMU Express's general international mail service, you can ship to almost any country. Here, each country is assigned a zone number from 11 to 21, and the price depends directly on that zone number. Note: if the country you're looking for isn't in the table above, you can find complete information in EMU Express's "Tariff Card." Using some popular destinations as examples: · Turkey — Zone 11, delivery time 4–7 days; · Germany — Zone 15, delivery time 4–8 days; · USA — Zone 16, delivery time 8–10 days (4–8 days for New York); · United Kingdom — Zone 12, delivery time 3–7 days (one of the fastest delivery times). Additional Coefficients — Factors That Affect Price In certain cases, additional coefficients may be applied to the standard tariff: · Bulky and heavy loads — standard tariff × 1.3 coefficient; · Very urgent delivery — standard tariff × 1.5 coefficient; · Hazardous goods or lithium-ion batteries — standard tariff × 2.0 coefficient; · Economy (cheaper, slower) delivery — standard tariff × 0.7 coefficient. Additionally, the price is calculated based on whichever is higher — the actual weight or the volumetric weight (using the formula length × width × height / 5000) — an important point for large but lightweight shipments. Conclusion When sending international shipments, the price is shaped by factors such as the destination country (and its zone), the type of shipment (document or parcel), the weight of the shipment (actual or volumetric), and additional conditions (urgency, hazard level, etc.).
