The EMU Express team visited the Center of Islamic Civilization

Following the review meeting, on 26 July 2026 a special excursion was organised for the EMU Express team to the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, newly built in the capital. The company's management and regional managers took part in the visit. During the tour, participants explored the centre's six main halls. The "Pre-Islamic Civilizations" hall presents exhibits devoted to the ancient cultures that took shape on the territory of our country, the Great Silk Road and the origins of statehood. The "First Renaissance" and "Second Renaissance" halls are dedicated to the contribution made to world science by our great scholars — al-Khwarizmi, al-Biruni, Ibn Sina, Ulugh Beg and other thinkers. The "Uzbekistan in the 20th Century" hall reflects the complex and defining periods of the country's modern history, while the "New Uzbekistan — the Foundation of the Third Renaissance" hall tells the story of today's development, reforms and future goals. The most striking part of the tour was the visit to the "Holy Quran" hall, where the centre's most precious treasure is displayed — the original Uthman Quran (the Mushaf of Uthman). Standing before this unique relic of global significance left an unforgettable impression on the participants. The visit was not only a cultural break for the team but also a spiritual journey that deepened their understanding of national identity and historical heritage. Events of this kind strengthen team spirit and enrich employees' cultural outlook. EMU Express plans to continue organising such educational and cultural programmes for its staff on a regular basis.
